RINK RULES

  • WAIVER FORM: All players must complete a waiver of liability

  • LOCKER ROOMS: Must be emptied by teams 30 minutes after their game ends

  • Players are not allowed on the ice while the ice is being resurfaced

  • Pucks must not be used until the Zamboni doors are closed

  • Posted rink rules must be followed

  • Be respectful to rink employees and direct any complaints to the league coordinator

GAME RULES

  • Games consist of three (12) minute stop-time periods

  • Players must have a number on their game jersey

  • Teams must provide an up to date roster to the scorekeeper

    OFFICIALS ENFORCE MODIFIED USA HOCKEY RULES
    Verbal or any other abuse of officials or staff will not be tolerated. Offending players are subject to supplementary disciplinary action.
     

  • A goal differential of 6 or more in the 3rd period results in running time

  • A player who receives 3 penalties in a game will be ejected

  • Minor penalties: 1.5 minutes in length

  • Major penalties: 5 minutes in length

  • Misconduct penalties: 10 minutes in length

  • Game misconduct or match penalties must be served in the locker room or in the offending player's house.

  • If there is any type of altercation and or fight, the clock will continue to run until the situation is resolved and an official instructs the scorekeeper to stop the clock.
     

  • FORFEITS: If a team is forced to forfeit a game, the forfeiting team receives a Loss in the standings. The other impacted team receives a Win and may use the ice for a scrimmage. NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN.

  • Make-up games and some playoff games may be played on days other than Sundays or Tuesdays, pending ice availability and league scheduling.

PLAYOFF RULES

  • Single elimination format

  • Each team is allowed 1 timeout per game

  • Overtime format:
    3 vs 3, five minute sudden death period 
    > best of 3 shootout
    > sudden death shootout

  • Any player who has not registered/signed a waiver will be ineligible to play in the playoffs.

  • Registered players must have played in a minimum of 8 regular season games to play in a playoff game. Any roster challenge must be made to the referee prior to puck drop.

PLAYER CONDUCT &
THE DISCIPLINE COMMITTEE

The Discipline Committee is comprised of 1 League representative, 1 referee, and 1 neutral party. It has the right to review any player misconduct, penalty, or act performed in or around the rink and determine a finding, including supplementary discipline, suspension, and banishment. All resources, including referee reports, video footage, and player's history will be considered

  • A major penalty for fighting results in an automatic 1 game suspension effective for the next regular season or playoff game, and the player's eligibility to resume League play must be determined by the discipline committee

  • A game misconduct penalty assigned at the conclusion of the game (0:00) results in a minimum 1 game suspension for the offending player, effective for the next regular season or playoff game.

  • Intent to injure or misconduct will not be tolerated
